ACT Law Courts invest in a sustainable future with EV car chargers

30 September 2021

Great News!

Next time you find yourself in Canberra, our nation’s capital, in a spot of legal trouble, take comfort knowing you can reliably and quickly charge up your EV car at ACT Law Courts.

EVUp supplied and installed 10 x 22kW dual-port pedestal chargers, known as the AURIGA chargers. These are robust, reliable and oh so very smart. What’s more, they’re made in Victoria by our partner company EVolution.

ACT Law Courts chose EVUp as their preferred supplier for the following reasons:

Local responsive support

Our support staff are based here in Australia and are EV experts. Need help? Site owners and drivers can call a team who understand the difference between a Tritium and Delta DC fast charger.

Having this level of support is particularly helpful if you’re considering converting your fleet to electric

Reliable, seamless software

We've designed and built our EVUp charging software, UpCharge, from the ground up. Customers will get fully tested software and reliable backups.

The software includes data about session duration, carbon offset, revenue and reimbursement. All in one simple online portal.

Locally hosted

Hosing the EVUp software locally adds extra security, as all data meet Australian and New Zealand privacy laws.

All credit card transactions are processed securely. No data is ever sent overseas. And regular penetration tests are run by external consultants to ensure data is secure.

Transparent install and run costs

We’ll work with you to work out your expected EV load. Successful EV charger load management starts with understanding how much power we have to work with.

We will then create a design including the AURIGA EV charger. You can look at usage and run costs anytime as these are monitored with our local software.

Maintenance arrangements

The EVUp software connects a growing network of EVUp EV charging stations across Australia & New Zealand. We offer ongoing maintenance to make sure the whole network of electric car chargers run smoothly.

Support your community with EV charging

One of the biggest (and growing) sources of greenhouse gas emissions is the transport sector. Many states are encouraging Zero Emissions Vehicles (ZEVs) to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.

All this means switching to EV fleets is a priority. And as more car owners switch to EVs, residents need accessible and reliable public charging.
